Chocophiles, curious locals or taste explorers, get ready! From Friday October 10 to Sunday October 12, 2025, the Place Saint-Georges will be filled with the scent of cocoa. France’s oldest chocolate market will be celebrating 31 years of tradition and expertise. The event promises to bring together eleven of the finest local chocolate artisans for a program of 100% pleasure. Free workshops, tastings, games and solidarity… All taste buds, big and small, are invited on a gourmet voyage where chocolate comes in all its shapes and colors! The chocolate market in Toulouse is a not-to-be-missed event!
The chocolate market comes to Toulouse: the most chocolate-filled event in the Ville Rose
It’s impossible to resist the promise of this cult Toulouse market, which returns every autumn. From Friday 11am, Place Saint-Georges is transformed into a temple of cocoa. You’ll come across the likes of CacaoFages, Castan, De la fève au Palais, Barrelle, Bello & Angeli, Maison Escarnot, L’Atelier du Chocolat, La Compagnie du Chocolat, Ô Gourmandises d’Alice, Chocolaterie de Puyricard and Antoine Fornara – just to name a few. Each exhibits its flagship creations. Refined bars, festive sweets, homemade pralines, melting ganaches, entremets or ice creams… It’s hard to taste them all without melting with pleasure!
Also on the menu: sharp teas from Shentéa and flavors straight from Madagascar (spices, vanilla, rum) with Sun & Green. Between bites, the event cultivates the art of living together through its commitment to the Hôpital Sourire association, which brightens up the daily lives of young hospitalized patients. A sweet, supportive experience to be enjoyed without moderation.
Gourmet workshops and chocolate challenges for all
The secret of this market is also its participatory workshops, open to all generations! On Saturday and Sunday, young and old alike can try their hand at chocolate painting with CacaoFages, or embark on a wine & chocolate journey with Ô Gourmandises d’Alice. Gourmets won’t want to miss a guided tasting at Maison Escarnot, the discovery of Shentéa’s crus, or the creation of marshmallow lollipops by Barrelle.
More exclusive: the famous “Mallette des saveurs” with Castan and, to prolong the magic, an artistic chocolate expression session orchestrated by Bello & Angeli. On Sundays, try the bean to bar, hunt for the best praline with La Compagnie du Chocolat, or leave with your own Feuillant d’Or, an iconic recipe from L’Atelier du Chocolat.
