It’s already been a few days since you raided Toulouse’s finest chocolatiers in search of crunchy chocolate bunnies and melting cocoa eggs. If Easter is a treat for young and old alike, it’s also a good time to find the activity your children are sure to love. Toulouse Secret tells you more about the giant egg hunt that will take place in the boxwood labyrinth of the Château de Merville.
What days will the giant egg hunt take place near Toulouse?
Located 20 minutes northwest of Toulouse, Château de Merville is finally reopening its doors with an activity that’s perfect for your children, especially as Easter approaches. On Saturday April 19, Sunday April 20 and Monday April 21, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the boxwood labyrinth of this atypical site welcomes children for a giant egg hunt. There’s plenty to keep your little ones entertained over the long weekend.
Accompanied by their parents, children of all ages will have to roll up their sleeves and set off in search of chocolate eggs hidden throughout the estate. This year, Château de Merville has gone all out and hidden 100,000 Easter eggs. But don’t bite off more than you can chew, as you’ll be limited to 12 eggs per person. Don’t forget to get your tickets for this great family day out! Good to know: access is free for children under 4. On your marks, get set, and let’s get ready for the Easter egg hunt!
