Lovers of urban art and street culture are sure to be there! On Saturday March 22 and Sunday March 23, 2025, the Layup team invites you to “L’ENTRACTE”, an event that will keep us waiting for the return of their next exhibition. Activities, workshops, DJ sets, creators’ market… We’ll tell you more about this free event that gives pride of place to street art and urban culture in Toulouse.
What awaits you at this Street Art event in Toulouse?
Head for Boulevard Delacourtie. At number 11, you’ll find a 3500m2open-air space totally dedicated to urban art. Following the success of Chapters 1 and 2 of the Layup exhibitions, which attracted over 40,000 visitors, we’re looking forward to Chapter 3. To help us wait, we’ll be able to take advantage of “L’ENTRACTE”, a free event taking place on Saturday March 22 (11am to 11pm) and Sunday March 23 (11am to 7pm).
You’ll discover the work of new local, national and international artists in Live Painting sessions. From 11am until nightfall, some thirty artists will transform the walls before your amazed eyes. These artists include: Azek, Panks, Padre, Mist, Momies, Sox, Haeck, Dyva… These works of art will come to life in front of you, and are sure toamaze young and old alike.
During this exceptional weekend, you’ll have free access to the event. A whole host of festivities await you! To begin with, the creators’ market welcomes some forty artists showcasing their work and creations. The atmosphere will be enlivened by DJ sets from Forward Soundsystem, DJ Rams, SMS, Etienne Trinidad and Contrebande. Afterwards, a raffle with lots of prizes to be won will be organized, with a draw scheduled for Sunday at 6pm.
For the style-conscious, the Atypique Crew will be creating flash tattoos, while Fav Nomad Barber will be on hand to refresh your look. Finally, graffiti initiation workshops for children and adults will be held at three times each day (11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 4.30 p.m.), but advance booking is advised due to limited space! See you there?
