One year after a sold-out inaugural event that drew 3,000 people and set a world record with 3.9 metric tonsof aligot and sausage consumed ,Aligofest is back in Toulouse. And this time, the goal is twofold: to break its own record for volume and to create the longest strand of aligot ever pulled in the world.
The program will feature a festive atmosphere around the table, complemented by bandas, DJ sets, and concerts. Other activities—for young and old alike—have not yet been revealed and will be added to the lineup in the coming weeks. So mark your calendars for November 13 and 14, 2026, at the Grand Marché du MIN, for two days of non-stop festivities! And be sure to wear extra-large pants.
Two records within reach
This event is for competitors at heart! In addition to the consumption record (breaking the 3.9-metric-ton mark over the weekend), festivalgoers can try to break the record for the world’s longest strand of aligot. By purchasing your ticket, you’re giving yourself the chance to try your luck and stretch out the most impressive strand possible. And yes, in this case, size really does matter!
As for the musical and festive program: bandas, DJ sets, and concerts will liven up the festivities, with other activities to be announced very soon. To quench your thirst, the craft brewery Brasserie Caporal—already a partner in 2025—will once again be on hand to serve the dining tables. Don’t worry—you won’t run out of drinks.
Hours and Prices
On Friday, November 13, doors open from 5 p.m. to midnight at a price of €35 per person (all-you-can-eat aligot and sausage included, guaranteed seating, and a free Aligofest bandana). On Saturday, November 14, the festival runs from 10 a.m. to midnight for €40 per person. Tickets are available now through the official Aligofest ticket office.
With a stated goal of 6,000 participants and an event area twice the size of the 2025 edition,Aligofest is firmly establishing itself as a staple of Toulouse’s festival calendar—and is counting on collective participation to break its own record. Will you be part of this wonderful community?
