From October 2 to 4, 2025,Oktoberfest will take place near the Purpan beer garden, transforming Toulouse into a mini-Munich. In a festive, offbeat atmosphere, get ready for the most convivial party of the autumn. Fanfare, beer, surprise gifts… the event promises folklore and a change of scenery! For this third edition, the Pink City will be on Munich time, so set your watches and get ready for the most Toulousian of Bavarian festivities.
Traditional dishes, beer and costumes: the unique atmosphere of Oktoberfest takes root in Toulouse
When Munich’s joie de vivre meets Toulouse’s energy, the result is Oktoberfest! Every evening at 9pm, the festival kicks off with the traditional keg-piercing to mark the official start of the festivities. For a complete change of scenery, the waiters are dressed in typical German costumes: Lederhosen for the gentlemen, Dirndl for the ladies!
As for the student brass band, they’ll be rocking the room with their iconic tunes. On the plate, wood-fired cockerel, Obazda (a blend of spicy Bavarian cheeses) and vegetarian dishes are sure to please every palate. And let’s not forget the inevitable pretzels for purists – a real treat!
The icing on the beer cake: everything here is served in Munich-style one-liter mugs (“mass”). Bonus: photobooths to immortalize your best chicken hat, traditional decorations galore and, always, a festive air!
