Large banquet tables, one-liter mugs, a Bavarian band, and a chorus of “Prosit”… That’s more or less what you were supposed to experience on October 16 and 17, 2026. Unfortunately, the Grand Marché MIN will remain empty on those dates. The event, conceived by the MoovEvents agency in collaboration with the Caporal brewery and expected to draw nearly 3,000 participants over two days, has been canceled for 2026. What about ticket refunds or rescheduling? We’ll tell you more.
Toulouse: Why was Oktoberfest XXL canceled?
Why this change of plans just over two weeks before the big day? Hosting up to 3,000 people for a celebration requires meticulous planning. The organizers (MoovEvents and the Toulouse-based Caporal brewery) have prioritized quality: rather than holding the event at all costs under conditions that weren’t 100% optimal, they’ve decided to postpone it to ensure a better event in 2027.
For those who have already registered, an email will be sent shortly to provide you with all the necessary information and offer you a refund for your ticket or the option to reschedule.
Toward a 2027 edition?
The project is far from being abandoned. The organizers’ goal is still to offer you an authentic Bavarian festival, designed to become a permanent fixture in the “Pink City.” You’ll just need to be a little patient.
