Trainers andastronomy enthusiasts, mark your calendars! Starting October 2, 2026, the Cité de l’Espace in Toulouse has a totally new intergalactic surprise in store for you. Pikachu, Séléroc, Météno, and Cosmog are coming for an exhibition that’s as fun as it is fascinating, designed to make science accessible to everyone through our favorite creatures. A family-friendly experience to enjoy through spring 2027!
Calling all space trainers: a brand-new Pokémon exhibit is coming to Toulouse!
Located in the heart of Europe’s space capital, this one-of-a-kind event is taking place at a venue that welcomes 400,000 visitors each year. Between discoveries, you can admire the site’s treasures, such as the replica of the MIR space station or the famous 53-meter-tall model of the Ariane 5 rocket .
Good news for Europe: after Toulouse—the continent’s leading hub for space culture—the exhibition will also travel to six other countries (Germany, Spain, Belgium, Italy, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands). It’s worth noting, however, that it’s our beloved “Pink City” that’s kicking off this European exhibition!
The gift shop, the highlight of the show
To extend the experience, head to the pop-up shop located on the ground floor of the main building. Open to ticket-holding visitors starting October 2 (while supplies last), it’s packed with exclusive goodies from the “Pokémon x ESA” collaboration: official mission patches, plush toys, figurines, and super-cute keychains featuring Pokémon dressed as astronauts.
The exhibition opens on October 2, 2026, at the Cité de l’espace, Avenue Jean Gonord, Toulouse.
