Keep your eyes (and mouth) wide open! What if you could also savor your favorite movie at the dinner table? In Toulouse,“Taste The Screen” returns this fall with two animated classics: Lilo & Stitch and Rapunzel. With an intimate screening, an immersive six-course menu, and dishes inspired by the films, this movie-dining experience promises to transform a simple movie night into a true sensory journey.
Taste The Screen: When Cinema Becomes a Culinary Experience in Toulouse
Imagine watching a cult classic with a dish right in front of you that’s directly inspired by what’s happening on screen. That’s exactly what Taste The Screen is all about. The concept blends film screenings and fine dining, with a menu served throughout the movie and synchronized with its scenes.
For this new edition in Toulouse, two very different worlds share the spotlight. On one hand, *Lilo & Stitch* takes you to Hawaii with the “Doudou Meal,” a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. The “Hawaiian Bowl” combines teriyaki chicken, roasted pineapple, and coconut rice. On the drink front, the “Good Night, Stitch” puts a twist on the mojito with cold brew. And because “Ohana” means family, the meal ends with a chocolate layer cake.

Tangled and Lilo & Stitch: Two Movies, Two Immersive Menus
For *Tangled*, we head to a much more magical kingdom. The menu begins with “The Elixir of the Golden Flower,” a cocktail made with St-Germain, jasmine tea, lime, and sparkling water. “Mother Gothel’s Surprise” then takes the form of a parsnip soup with hazelnuts. As for “Rapunzel’s Hair,” it comes as grilled chicken breast served with spaghetti, Parmesan sauce, and sun-dried tomatoes. Finally, two desserts echo the film’s world: “The Magic of the Lanterns,” featuring a cookie with royal icing, and “Struck Right in the Heart,” a soft-baked cookie served with vanilla ice cream.
In Toulouse, screenings take place at the Novotel Toulouse Aéroport, located at 23 impasse de Maubec. *Lilo & Stitch* will be shown on October 11, 23, and 24, while *Tangled* will follow on October 16 and 17, then on November 7 and 8. Screenings begin around 7:15 p.m. and last about two hours. The film is shown in the French version, without subtitles, while the service gradually accompanies the scenes on screen.
Suitable for ages 8 and up, the experience is particularly well-suited for a family outing, a date, or a night out with friends. A vegetarian option and non-alcoholic beverages are available at the time of booking. Premium seats, located closest to the screen, are available for €89 per person. Since seating is limited to maintain the intimate atmosphere of the experience, it’s best to book before the credits roll without you!
