From October 30 to November 1, 2026, MEETT will host the latest edition of the Salon Vins & Terroirs. A must-attend event on the Toulouse calendar, the fair brings together more than 200 winemakers, artisans, and regional producers over three days. It’s the perfect opportunity for lovers of live tastings, local products, and wine-tasting workshops—all paired with the famous Salon Chocolat & Gourmandises, held concurrently.
But beyond major traditional events like MEETT, Toulouse’s event scene demonstrates a genuine commitment to revitalizing the art of tasting by offering increasingly hybrid and unpretentious formats.
Once you’ve stocked up at the fair, wine culture will continue to unfold in original ways in Toulouse. This winter, the nectar of the gods will take center stage with the arrival of *An Idiot’s Guide to Wine* at the Hôtel Palladia.
This interactive stand-up concept (originally created by Australian comedian Merrick Watts) breathes new life into traditional wine-tasting classes by combining offbeat comedy with a guided tasting of six wines. The idea isn’t to drone on about tannins for two hours, but to help you have a really good time while refining your palate without even realizing it.
