This classical and neoclassical building, formerly the largest hospital in Toulouse, closed its doors in 1987. Today, it’s an integral part of the city’s heritage, both a Unesco World Heritage site and a listed historic monument. It is part of the Santiago de Compostela pilgrimage route, and can be visited.
