Lovers of the oval ball have one more place to meet. The opening of the Grand Café du Stade Toulousain in December 2023 – right in the middle of the Rugby World Cup 2023 – has delighted many. A convivial and gourmet place, people have been meeting there ever since to drink a good beer while watching rugby or soccer matches. Toulouse Secret tells you more about this must-visit address in the Pink City to support the Rouge et Noir.
Toulouse a Grand Café du Stade Toulousain: the ideal place to watch rugby matches
The good news was announced by Didier Lacroix, former player and current president of Stade Toulousain. Ideally located right in the city center, the Grand Café du Stade Toulousain opened its doors to the public on the evening of December 15, 2023. This new café-brasserie is located at 58, boulevard Lazare-Carnot , and welcomes all lovers and enthusiasts of the oval ball. But that’s not all! With its warm, festive atmosphere, all the bon-vivants love to meet here on match nights.

The bar’s address was not chosen at random. The club’s biggest fans will know that this is where the Stade Toulousain headquarters were located in the 70s. What does this tribute to the city’s XV rugby club look like? “There’s a decorum that honors the men and women who have built Stade Toulousain since its inception, and the stadiums that have hosted Stade Toulousain matches,” Didier Lacroix sums up for Actu Toulouse. It’s the ideal place to watch matches on a giant screen. A convivial place to meet up with friends for the Top 14 final on Saturday June 28, 2025!
And that’s not all: while you’re watching the match, you can mop up your beers by enjoying their Top 14 Tapas (for example, Lyon: Brioche Lyonnaise, old-fashioned mustard and frisée salad. Or Castres: Crépine de pied de cochon de Lacaune with blackberry juice). So, good plan or not?
