Born from a pot of tteokbokki and a conversation among enthusiasts, the Woori Festival has established itself over the past five years as Toulouse’s premier event for Korean culture. Its 5th edition will take place on September 19 and 20, 2026, at Hall 8 on Île du Ramier. Building on the success of the last edition, which drew 2,300 visitors and 40 exhibitors, a large crowd is expected again this year.
K-pop fans and K-beauty enthusiasts will have two days to soak up inspiration at this incredible festival, which lets you experience the best of the Land of the Morning Calm without leaving the Pink City.
A program blending tradition and pop culture
A packed and varied program awaits you at the Woori Festival, taking place in Toulouse this weekend! Saturday kicks off with a demonstration of Haidong Gumdo, a Korean martial art, followed by talks, autograph sessions with Korean filmmakers and guests, a K-pop contest, and concerts— including a K-rap performance at the end of the day.
The Chill Talks offer a more intimate setting: travel stories, insights into K-dramas, diplomacy on the Korean Peninsula, and Korean cinema, all presented by the Toulouse Franco-Korean Association.
As for the workshops, participants can learn Bojagi folding, Korean calligraphy on fans, layering, and K-beauty, or even write their first names in Hangul. Sunday’s events and the after-party round out the program—details are available on the festival’s official website.
