June 21 marks two celebrations. Firstly, it’s the summer solstice, the longest day of the year and the start of the warm season. Since 1982, on the initiative of Jack Lang – then Minister of Culture – it’s also the day when music lovers of all horizons celebrate the Fête de la Musique. Free open-air concerts, mini-festivals…. Toulouse Secret gives you a sneak preview of the Fête de la Musique 2025.
Fête de la musique at the LayUp urban art center in Toulouse

Located at number 11 boulevard Delacourtie , the LayUp exhibition is getting in tune with the fête de la musique. On Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 6 p.m. to midnight, you’ll be able to dance the night away. On the program: House and Groove music and DJ sets.
The fête de la musique is also danced in Toulouse on the square and on the COMDT premises.

Contrary to tradition, this year’s ball organized by the Centre occitan des musiques et danses traditionnelles (COMDT) will not be held in the Jardin Raymond VI. But the party goes on! A musical evening awaits you on the forecourt and on the COMDT premises from 4.30pm, with free admission. On the program: a strolling street music group and performances by COMDT students. Bodegas and bohas (bagpipes), aboes (oboes), singing, violins, hurdy-gurdies, diatonic accordions and Mediterranean percussion will set the pace for your afternoon (until 8:30pm for the finale).
