This is the event you won’t want to miss this fall in Toulouse! From October 9 to November 29, the LayUp collective is taking over Terra Nova with “Mondes Parallèles,” a massive exhibition bringing together 73 national and international artists and transforming 5,000 m² into a huge playground dedicated tourban art. But that’s not all—the program also includes graffiti workshops and parties featuring DJ sets. Here’s more.
73 artists will take over a 5,000-square-meter building
It’s going to be a real feast for the eyes! For its sixth season, LayUp is taking over Terra Nova, located at 22 Boulevard de la Marquette in the Compans-Caffarelli neighborhood. Facing the Canal du Midi, this massive building will become a true pop-up urban art center for several weeks, taken over by 73 artists from Toulouse, France, and around the world.
Titled “Mondes Parallèles,” this new edition invites you to wander through six levels and a multitude of artistic worlds. Among the featured artists are Mode2, André and his famous Mr. A, Moze156, and Stéphane Carricondo, alongside numerous talents from the local and international scenes.
An exhibition worth visiting… but that’s not all
Here, you don’t just come to look at art hanging on the walls. Throughout the exhibition, guided tours will be held every weekend, along with graffiti workshops where you can try your hand at spray-painting alongside professionals.
And as always with LayUp, the program will feature a variety ofevents andactivities throughout the duration of the exhibition. That’s plenty of reason to come back several times and discover the venue from a different perspective!
