Located in the heart of the city, the headquarters of Toulouse’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) is housed in this building steeped in history and life, also known as the Palais Consulaire. A monumental staircase, painted ceilings dating back to the 17th century, ancient sculptural details blending with those of its 20th-century extension… Its fusion of architectural and artistic styles makes it one of the city’s true cultural gems, now hosting professional and cultural events of all kinds.
A little history…
The Toulouse Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) has a rich history stretching back over three centuries. It was created in 1703 by Louis XIV under the name of Chambre de Commerce de Toulouse, and is part of the wider context of the establishment of CCIs in France, which came into being in 1599 to represent the interests of commercial and industrial enterprises.
It is housed in the magnificent Hôtel de Fumel building, now known as the Palais Consulaire. Built in the first half of the 20th century, its Art Nouveau influences continue to adorn its façade, blending history with modern functionality.
