An exhibition from a private collection reveals a little-known Dalí to the public
As you will see, this exhibition is unlike any other. It’s a veritable private collection of rarely exhibited pieces and objects . You’ll discover totally unknown facets of Salvador Dalí. You’ll discover his eccentricity, his genius and his great sensitivity, too. What’s more, this collection is the fruit of a sincere passion. That of Mickael Mamou, who was inspired by his meetings with Enrique Sabater, the artist’s faithful personal secretary from 1968 to 1980. Mamou shares with the public an intimate look at the man behind the myth. And what better setting for this exhibition than the Hôtel Albert 1er, a former painter’s studio?

The six main themes of Dalin’s work for you to discover
The exhibition is structured around six major themes that reveal the richness of the Catalan master’s work. First, you’ll see how “Dalí reinvents cards“. This is his particular approach to gaming and divination. Then, the artist “sublimates money” with his unique vision of bas-relief art. The tour continues with “Dalí, the alchemist of books“, as he created veritable monuments of the imagination.
The exhibition also features “Dalí, creator of images and brands“. The artist was also a king of advertising and design. Finally,“Dalí, master of volume and light” will present a three-dimensional dream. In addition, a complementary area will showcase the artist’s ceramics.
