Historically held just opposite the Capitole – one of the city’s most emblematic buildings – this culinary festival has become a veritable institution. This year, you’ll be able to enjoy a giant cassoulet banquet in Toulouse’s lovely garden , the Grand Rond .
And that’s not all. For this 2025 edition, Toulouse à Table has a big surprise in store for you, with an exceptional challenge that the collective wants to take up for its giant banquet. As it has done since 2014, the Toulouse à Table collective is inviting all Toulouse residents to join in the celebration of one of the city’s flagship dishes. This year, the collective is aiming to serve 3031 portions of cassoulet in one go, beating the world record in the process.
A giant cassoulet banquet in Toulouse to beat a world record
It’s become a real tradition in Toulouse, and a not-to-be-missed event. This spring, the Pink City is once again hosting “Toulouse à Table”, a culinary event celebrating the gastronomy of the capital of the South-West , and in particular a dish typical of Castelnaudary. On the program for this 2025 edition: the gourmet village on May 17, 2025.
Three services await you: at 6:30pm, 8:00pm and 9:30pm, with something for everyone. During this festive and convivial meal, genuine Toulouse Cassoulet will be available in gluten-free (€30) and vegetarian (€30) versions.

A traditional menu costs €30, and a children’s menu (under 12) is €15. An ode to local delicacies, the traditional menu (to name but one) includes a three-vegetable terrine as a starter and a genuine Toulouse Cassoulet as a main course. After that, you’ll still have to make room for regional cheese. Finally, for dessert, you’ll be treated to a Toulouse à Table ice cream and cookie. Don’t forget to bring baggy pants!
