Between Anglo-Saxon breakfast, Mediterranean touches and gourmet afterworks, this new spot is already establishing itself as the must-visit spot of the summer. If you thought you’d tasted it all in Toulouse, Turbo Machine Café will prove you wrong. Nestling at 3 rue des Blanchers, this coffee shop like no other invites you to discover a creative and comforting menu, from morning till night. Ready to succumb to the new address that’s got the Daurade buzzing? Toulouse Secret tells you all about it.
Turbo Machine Café: Toulouse’s new gourmet hotspot
Behind Turbo Machine Café are Charlotte and Elis, two enthusiasts who have already won over Toulousans with their popular pop-ups. Today, they’ve set up shop in the Daurade district, with a long, sunny terrace and a friendly atmosphere. From 9 a.m., you’ll love the sweet and savory breakfast: French toast, fresh bread, butter and homemade jam, accompanied by a specialty coffee roasted in Toulouse.
But that’s not all. From 10:30 onwards, the menu expands: fluffy pancakes, poached eggs, pastrami bun and pommes grenailles arrive to satisfy every craving. Each plate tells a story, carried by the Guyanese and Mediterranean heritage of Elis, a chef inspired by her roots and years in Parisian gastronomy. The must-try? The spicy pancakes with crispy bacon, topped with chile-infused maple syrup, an explosion of flavors not to be missed.
A unique coffee and afterwork experience at La Daurade
At Turbo Machine Café, everything is designed to give you a feel-good experience. The warm welcome, Charlotte’s meticulous decor and the playlist set the tone from the very first sip of latte. Sweet tooths are not forgotten: homemade babka, half-baked cookies and halva-tahini brownies punctuate the menu.
Want to extend the experience? On Thursday evenings, the café goes into afterwork mode with a menu of plates to share and a selection of organic, natural and biodynamic wines. It’s the perfect place to chill out with friends. As you can see, Turbo Machine Café is already a must-try new address in Toulouse.
