Do you think that the cuisine of the South-West of France is only famous for its cassoulet and sausages? Think again: every year, the famous Michelin guide makes a stopover in Toulouse to award deserving chefs with those coveted stars. Whether you’re looking for a place for a romantic dinner or simply a good address for a meal out of the ordinary, here’s the Michelin Guide 2025 list of starred restaurants in Toulouse.
New: a Toulouse restaurant wins a Michelin 2025 star
This year, only one restaurant in Toulouse has been awarded a star. It’s Yannick Delpech‘s Acte 2 restaurant. The chef from the Tarn region is back with the famous guide. The youngest Michelin-starred chef in France, he had already been awarded a star at the age of 24 for his restaurant L’Amphitryon – which will close in 2024.
Located in the Côte Pavée district, Acte 2 is a much more intimate gastronomic restaurant, seating just fifteen. It was this formula that won over the famous red guide and enabled the chef to join the 68 new starred restaurants.
It’s the only new feature for the Pink City. Le Py-R and its two stars since 2023
And that’s two! Already the holder of a first star, the Py-R restaurant has been awarded a second by the Michelin guide for the 2023 edition. In this modern-design establishment, young Chef Pierre Lambinon offers elegant cuisine with exceptional products.

Chef Michel Sarran’s restaurant
It was the bad surprise of the Michelin Guide 2024. The restaurant of the emblematic chef from Toulouse (born in the Gers region) failed to recover its second star lost in 2023. This is still not the case in 2025. Rest assured, this loss does not prevent him from appearing in Toulouse’s starred restaurant ranking, since he still has one! Let’s hope that chef Michel Sarran finally wins back his lost star next year.

Les Jardins de l’Opéra and its star
This is a name you need to know if you’re an aficionado of Toulouse’s fine dining scene. In his Michelin-starred restaurant at Les Jardins de l’Opéra, chef Stéphane Tournié has sublimated Southwestern cuisine into a culinary masterpiece. Even more emblematic than his cuisine is the place at the foot of which he stands: the Capitole!

Le SEPT, the return of its star
We were delighted to announce the reopening of restaurant SEPT in the Carmes district on March 15, 2023. But the saga of this restaurant with its lucky number doesn’t end there! After closing its doors in June 2022, Toulouse chef Guillaume Momboisse de facto lost his star. He regained it last year and is still listed in the Michelin Guide 2025. His new formula based on urban and accessible gastronomy is still working.
