You think that the cuisine of the South-West is only famous for its cassoulet or its sausage ? Make no mistake, every year the famous michelin guide makes a stopover in Toulouse to award deserving chefs those coveted stars. Whether you’re looking for a place for a romantic dinner or simply a good address for a meal out of the ordinary, here’s the 2024 list of Michelin-starred restaurants in Toulouse.
Toulouse’s starred restaurants
-
The Py-R and its two stars
And that’s two! Already the owner of a first star, the py-R restaurant has been awarded a second Michelin star for the 2023 edition. In this modern-design establishment, young Chef Pierre Lambinon offers elegant cuisine with exceptional products.

-
Hedone’s star
Hedone tribute to the Greek goddess of pleasure Hedoné. This culinary delight and the work of Chef Balthazar Gonzalez have been rewarded with a star. The chef’s cuisine is “raw, passionate, instinctive and personal”, and the restaurant’s sublime decor also offers a unique experience.
📍Hédone*– 2 Impasse Saint-Félix – 31400 Toulouse
-
Chef Michel Sarran’s restaurant. Did not regain the star it lost last year, but remains in the ranking of starred restaurants with one star
This was the unpleasant surprise of the Michelin Guide 2024. The restaurant run by the emblematic Toulouse chef (born in the Gers region) failed to recover its second star, which it lost in 2023. Rest assured, this loss does not prevent him from appearing in Toulouse’s Michelin-starred restaurant rankings, as he still owns one! Hoping that the Michel Sarran regain its lost star next year.

-
Les Jardins de l’Opéra and its star
It’s a name you need to know if you’re an aficionado of Toulouse’s fine cuisine. In his Michelin-starred restaurant Opera Gardens starred chef Stéphane Tournié has sublimated Southwestern cuisine into a culinary masterpiece. Even more emblematic than its cuisine is the place at whose feet it stands: the Capitol !

Le SEPT, the return of its star
We were pleased to announce the reopening of restaurant SEPT in the Carmes district march 15, 2023. But the saga of this restaurant with its lucky number doesn’t end there! After closing his doors in June 2022, Toulouse chef Guillaume Momboisse lost his star de facto. Here it is again in this Michelin Guide 2024. It would seem that his new formula, based on accessible, urban gastronomy, has worked.
